Copyright Policy & DMCA
POVHands indexes metadata. Not video hosting.
POVHands is a first-person hand-operation metadata and AI-annotation aggregation platform. We do not store, re-host, transcode, or proxy any third-party video binary files. All video playback redirects to the original uploader's page on the source platform (YouTube / Bilibili / Vimeo / TikTok).
How POVHands Handles Content
Deep-linking only (no embedding)
POVHands uses standard <a href> hyperlinks + mobile Linking.openURL. We render zero <iframe>, zero WebView, zero reverse proxies for any third-party video. Our legal position is identical to that of a general-purpose search engine.
No video binary storage
Our Cloudflare D1 database stores only structured metadata: title, source URL, category, operation-type tags, AI-generated annotation summaries (hand-keypoint counts, quality scores), and user-submitted uploader info. Video binaries never touch our servers.
Thumbnails: client-side hotlink
Thumbnails from YouTube/Bilibili/Vimeo CDNs are loaded with next/image unoptimized mode — Cloudflare never caches them on disk. No copy of the thumbnail is ever made on POVHands infrastructure.
User-submitted links only
All video source URLs are submitted by end users via the POVHands App. POVHands team does not pre-curate or hand-pick specific third-party URLs. We rely on the DMCA safe-harbor (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) for user-uploaded links.
